full set of autographed books to be auctioned.

Metro reports that a full set of autographed Harry Potter novels, one of only two such sets in the world and worth £20,000, have been locked in a police station for safekeeping after a branch of Clydesdale Bank stated that they did not have the insurance required to keep them.

The books are set to be auctioned on eBay September 19th. Steve Read, of charity Books Abroad, said he was 'gobsmacked' when a branch of the Clydesdale Bank said it could not look after the set of seven novels – one of just two in the world and thought to be worth up to £20,000.
