how intuitive are you?my rslt.
You get a bad feeling about a restaurant...and your coworker gets food poisoning there. You think about a friend you haven't seen since high school...and she emails you the next day. Sure, these slightly-more-than-coincidences don't happen all the time, but when they do it shows that you've got a little more insight than the average person. Perceptive and open-minded, you're the type who enjoys the unexpected, even if it may not happen as often as you'd like.
It's not that you carry a crystal ball — you're just open to new things and hidden possibilities. We can see into your future and it's looking bright!

Hey Everyone!
I have just finished my first week back on set at Warner Brothers, and I was so excited to be in the studios again! I have started filming the sixth Harry Potter and it is going really well.
There are a few new faces around set, such as Jesse, who plays the character Lavender, who is really cool, although our characters really do not get on in the film! We have actually just finished filming a scene with Lavender and Ron kissing, where Hermione gets really jealous which was quite fun!
Only a few days to go now until Christmas, I am so looking forward to seeing all the family and having some quite time! I hope you all have a wonderfull Christmas and I will update you with all the news in the New Year!
Lots of love

plans for 8th HP minus harry?hints jkr.
Author J.K. ROWLING has given hope to millions of HARRY POTTER fans by hinting of plans to add an eighth book to the boy wizard franchise.
Rowling - who has been ranked the third in Time magazine's Person of the Year list - brought the series to an end earlier this year (07) with the release of the seventh novel, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
But the 42-year-old admits she is tempted to revisit the world of Hogwarts just one more time - although the story may not be built around the title character.
She says, "There have been times since finishing, some weak moments, when I've said, 'Yeah, all right', to an eighth novel.
"But if - and it's a big if - I ever write an eighth book about the wizarding world, I doubt Harry would be the central character."

another prev. of JKR's ITV doc.
JK Rowling breaks down in tears when she returns to the flat where she wrote the first Harry Potter book, and admitted that even after a decade of phenomenal success, she still sometimes struggles to believe her current life is real.
The moment was captured during filming for JK Rowling...A Year in the Life, transmitting on Sunday 30th December at 7pm on ITV, as Jo, returning for the first time to the flat in Leith, Scotland, where she began writing the Harry Potter saga, was overcome with emotion on facing the 'ghosts' of her past - the struggle she endured during her early writing.
The flat is only a few miles from her main home in Edinburgh, yet she had never gone back there before.
Stepping in to the front room of the flat Jo says: "This is really the room where I finished Philosopher's Stone, here. This is really where I turned my life around completely. My life really changed in this flat."
Jo explains further: "I feel I really became myself here, in that everything was stripped away, I'd made such a mess of things. But that was freeing, so I just thought, 'Well, I want to write,' and I wrote the book and, 'What is the worst that can happen? It gets turned down by every publisher in Britain, big deal. It's really back to the wall time here.'"
As she walks around her old home she is amazed to find copies of the Harry Potter books in what was her bedroom, but is now occupied by new residents.

BBC article-part on Emma/Pauline.
"Emma was perfect for Pauline," says Goldbacher. "She has a piercing, delicate aura that makes you want to gaze and gaze at her." Emma was intrigued by the part; Pauline's experience as a child actress who becomes a movie star had some parallels with her own.
Emma says: "I was all set to go back to school after finishing Harry Potter but couldn't resist Ballet Shoes. I really loved it; it felt so funny and real. It was also beautifully written." She adds that a scene that had most resonance for her takes place the night before the première of Pauline's first film. Pauline weeps: "Tomorrow night, my face is going to be blown up as big as a house, and everyone will find me out!"
According to Heidi, Emma need not fear. "Emma's performance in Ballet Shoes is a revelation," she says. "She is maturing rapidly as a young woman and as an actress. Her work is sensitive, subtle and intelligent."
Heidi adds: "She is also incredibly hardworking. Our schedule was murderous, and she never once complained, even when she was white with exhaustion." Insiders also noticed a refreshing lack of vanity. Emma agreed to play one scene with her hair in bright blue curlers. "She looked a complete sight but she just got on with it," laughs Heidi.
Nevertheless, Pauline grows into a beautiful teenager in the course of the story, and, when Emma came on set to film her final scenes, she was wearing her first-ever coating of rich, red lipstick. "There were gasps," says Heidi. "We suddenly got a sense of the great beauty Emma is likely to become and it was breathtaking."

a review fr The Scotsman..B.Shoes.
Emma Watson, in her first role outside of the Harry Potter series, is surprisingly good. All those prim elocutionary speeches as Hermione are gone, in favour of a natural, likeable portrayal of Pauline, the eldest, who veers between anxiety about her burgeoning acting career, slight smugness and the genuine wish, as they all have, to hold the strange family together.

Emma insists Telegraph interview is not 100% true.
Emma is a little unhappy with the way that this interview portrays her to be some sort of victim when she absolutely is not. Many (most) of the quotes were either incorrect or completely made up...and Emma doesn't want you to feel sorry for her!
Direct quote from Emma: "please for goodness sake no one feel sorry for me !!! I consider myself to be one of the luckiest 17 year old girls on this earth".
it's true if this mags tried to twist her words and edit it,sad tht such a reputable mag/paper would do tht.after all, honesty is the best policy.

Biography Channel airs Hp special.
The Harry Potter Kids, featuring profiles on Dan Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson. The programme can be seen today at 9pm(ET) and again on December 20th at 1am(ET).
They were virtually unknown when they were cast in the first Harry Potter movie in 2000, but Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint have since become worldwide stars. When Radcliffe won the coveted role as Harry in The Sorcerer's Stone, he was plucked from almost compete obscurity. Grint was a fan of the books and wanted a part in the films so much that he sent a video of himself rapping about how much he wanted the role. Watson was just 11 and had almost no acting experience when the film was released. Today, all the Potter kids are grown, especially Watson, who has been named one of the world's sexiest women by the magazine "FHM".

JKR is gonna be on Pottercast!

We're very excited and proud to announce that as a little pre-Christmas surprise, J.K. Rowling will make her first ever appearance on a podcast on Tuesday when PotterCast #130 is released to the public.
http://www.pottercast.com/jkrowling/
Jo's repartee was everything we knew it would be: informative, warm, funny and chock-full of canon revelations as well as statements about the writing and publishing of the series. We had such a great time recording with her and hope that you all enjoy the output!
Most of Jo's sit-down with Sue Upton, John Noe and myself will be played in Tuesday's show, and the remainder will be saved for the following show.
We just couldn't wait to tell you; you can expect a preview of what we talked about on the show tomorrow, so stay tuned! In the meantime, now that we've dispensed with all the plain informational talk.

Time mag lists DH as no 8 of best books 2007.gloom*
There's no point in trying to finesse the importance of Harry Potter. In seven books Rowling proved that books can still be a true global mass medium, and that significant chunks of the known world can still embrace a single story. Deathly Hallows finds Rowling is in fine form, pulling all the stops she'd been saving up. She gives us wartime gloom, the crackling three-sided chemistry of Harry and Ron and Hermione, and an epic, cataclysmic finale, among many other minor treats. This isn't the most elegant of the Potter volumes, but it feels like an ending, the final iteration of Rowling's abiding thematic concern: the overwhelming importance of continuing to love in the face of death.
Newsweek chooses DHallows as best book of 2007.wow.
http://www.newsweek.com/id/77880/page/1
"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" as their Best Book of 2007. In an article titled "Wizards, Warmongers and the West Coast," the magazine lists their 15 best books, with the final installment of the Harry Potter series at the number one spot. They write:
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. J. K. Rowling. You could call it the most satisfying ending to a guessing game since the casting of Scarlett O'Hara. The seventh and final installment of the Potter series went in no radical directions [spoiler omitted here], but Rowling made it look effortless when she niftily tied off one plot line after another. The kids who grew up on these novels--and therefore can't help but take them somewhat for granted--have no idea how lucky they are.

which HP character are you?
Raise your hand if you can picture yourself at the head of the class — any class. Though sometimes you might crack under pressure, that doesn't mean you're not brave and strong; you just care about doing things right. After all, you don't want to mess up your toads' eye and frogs' blood spell, do you?
Some people might say you could stand to work a bit less, but you know a little sweat will get you right to the top. And, hey, if you have a spare second can you help us with our homework? Thanks!

which coffee drink are you?
Easy does it. That's how you get through life. Not one to get caught up in silly dramas or frivolous gossip, you've got the grace and elegance to know what really matters. That's why your signature coffee drink is as smooth and refined as you are.
Calm, cool, and oh-so-collected, friends know they can come to you when they need a sympathetic ear and solid advice. You're a natural when it comes to making friends — and keeping them — since you're so trustworthy and real. With your confidence and composure, you can't help but be one smooth operator no matter what curveballs life throws you. And that's exactly what's going to take you to the top. Stay cool!

1st synopsis of HBP film.
Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simpering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.

Emma Watson, touching of course on her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films as well as her character of Pauline Fossil in her upcoming BBC film, Ballet Shoes.
In many ways, it's hard to separate her from Hermione Granger. 'Yes, it is, isn't it?' she says all in a rush. 'Sometimes even I get muddled which one I am, because I know Hermione so very well. My little brother, Toby, who's three, gets very cross with me sometimes because when he sees me in Harry Potter he can't understand how I can be Emma and Hermione at the same time,' she says.

Amazon will not be offering a print version of the book, unless JKR gives the go-ahead to do so, and has announced that the book will go on tour to schools and libraries. The book is 157 pages long, all handwritten, and editors at Amazon are currently accepting questions in their message boards.
You can view hi-res stills of the auction, a video of a reading of the handwritten note inside of the book from J.K. Rowling, and post in the message boards at the online retailer's site right here.

Amazon.com today announced it has purchased J.K. Rowling's "The Tales of Beedle the Bard" at an auction held by Sotheby's in London. The book of five wizarding fairy tales, referenced in the last book of the Harry Potter series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," is one of only seven handmade copies in existence. The book was purchased for GBP 1,950,000, and Ms. Rowling is donating the proceeds to The Children's Voice campaign, a charity she co-founded to help improve the lives of institutionalized children across Europe.

HBP-the funny Potter film?
http://www.mtv.com/movies/news/articles/1576191/story.jhtml
it's the "sex, drugs, and rock and roll" of the Potter books, with massive making-out sessions to occur for several characters — Ron and Lavender, Harry and Ginny — as they come of age. "It's the 'American Graffiti' for this set," Yates said. "I'm looking forward to developing the relationship between Ron and Hermione, and Ron and Lavender. There's a nice triangle there."
For all the jealousy Katie faced when Cho became Harry's first kiss, Bonnie Wright (who plays Ginny) hopes fans don't have the same response to her more extended kissing scenes. "I suppose our relationship lasts longer than Cho and Harry, but remember — at the end of [Book] Six, Harry and I can't be together," she said. "It'll be funny to do [the make-out scenes], but it's just a film! Hopefully people will just enjoy it and not get too jealous," she laughed.
"I knew Bonnie when she was 10, so that's going to be very odd!" Radcliffe laughed. "It's going to be fine, but it's going to be funny."
'I can't wait for Emma and Dan to onscreen kiss in DH as thr's a scene tht Harry and Hermione-wicked twins kiss!

Growing up and growing Potter.
Watson, 17, is keen on the Potter mythology that the DVDs provide. "It's really interesting, especially with the end of the books -- the release of the seventh one.
"It was really interesting how many different interpretations the books are open to, and how everyone had a different theory: 'Harry's going to die!' Or: 'Are Hermione and Ron going to get together?' It was really interesting and the DVD really deals with that interest and looks in depth at the films and the themes."
Producer David Hayman says Rowling's books "are the real reason" for the success of the Potter franchise "and the real gift that allows us to keep it alive and keep it fresh, because she's created these characters that we are all invested in.
Daniel Radcliffe is seriously committed to the next two Harry Potter movies. But he also yearns for a life, a career, after the Potter phenomenon fades.
"Yes," he muses to Sun Media during a shared two-on-one session to mark tomorrow's DVD debut of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, "I hope there is one."
Today, the 18-year-old Londoner is dog-tired, yet still game, proud of his contributions to the Phoenix DVDs.
We sit in a funky three-walled diner that is one of the sets for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, due in theatres in 2008. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will follow in 2010.
"This is an industry that can be very fickle and can be very perfidious sometimes and will turn its back on people," Radcliffe says.

reminder abt Bio Channel HP kids' documentary.
Biography channel will air a documentary called "The Harry Potter Kids" which of course means they will focus on Dan, Rupert and Emma! The programme will air on the Biography Channel December 19 at 9:00pm (ET) then once more on December 20 at 1:00 am (ET).
Today, all the Potter kids are grown, especially Watson, who has been named one of the world's sexiest women by the magazine "FHM".

article abt the Chanel exclusive dinner.
Not many A-levels students receive an invite to an ultra exclusive dinner hosted by fashion maestro Karl Lagerfeld, but then again Emma Watson isn't your average schoolgirl. The 17-year-old actress, who recently appeared at number 15 in Forbes magazine's list of top earning celebs under 25, has become something of a Chanel ambassador of late - wearing the French house's luxurious clothes to all her red carpet events.
And Wednesday night's bash was no exception, as Emma arrived at London's Nobu restaurant in a shimmering sequinned jacket bearing the legendary brand's double C logo. Clearly confident about her style - she recently revealed she never uses a stylist to help her with her wardrobe choices - the Harry Potter star completed her highly groomed look with a generous sweep of ruby-red lipstick.
The young film star, who is due to hit small screens over Christmas as the lead in TV production Ballet Shoes, rubbed shoulders with a host of glamorous names from the world of showbiz and fashion during the private dinner. Her fellow guests included Sean Lennon, models Kate Moss and Irina Lazareanu - both former fiancées of Pete Doherty - and pop princesses Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia.
Chanel director Karl was hosting the private dinner for his close friends ahead of Thursday's highly anticipated Paris-Londres show which will be the first time the label has ever held a fashion show in London.

Forbes mag-top young earning superstars.
"The top-earning actor on the list, Harry Potter alter-ego Daniel Radcliffe, 18, earned $15 million. That's more than performers twice his age, like Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock, who earned $14 million and $10 million, respectively, made over the same period. The Potter franchise catapulted Radcliffe's co-stars Emma Watson and Rupert Grint to the list with $4 million apiece. This summer's fifth installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, was the second highest-grossing film of the year (edged out by Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End), raking in $938 million worldwide. The trio are already filming the follow-up, Half-Blood Prince."
On the overall list, Dan Radcliffe (Harry Potter) was listed at number six , Emma Watson (Hermione Granger) was ranked at the 15th spot, and Rupert Grint, who plays Ron Weasley was listed at number 16, with the top spot going to NBA star LeBron James.
