J.K. Rowling has been honoured with a UK Film Council-backed script award at the 17th Women in Film and Television Awards, which were held in London's Hilton, Park Lane.
J.K. Rowling and producer Alison Owen ("Brick Lane") were among those feted at the U.K.'s 17th Women in Film and Television Awards, dished out over lunch at London’s Hilton, Park Lane.
"Harry Potter" creator Rowling received the U.K. Film Council-backed script award at the annual kudofest, which recognizes the contribution of women in the U.K. film and TV industries.
