author J. K. Rowling receives the honor of being named their Best Selling Author of the Year. Ranking above some such great authors as William Shakespeare, CS Lewis, Mark Twain, and George Orwell, J. K. Rowling topped this list of 25.

The final installment of the series, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” came in second place in Top 25 Overall Bestselling Books, with each of the previous novels making the list as well. “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” came in at third place, while “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” came in at 8th and 9th. “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” entered te list next at 12th and 13th, with “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire” rounding out the list at 19.
