Sorting hat song contest!

For this contest, please pick one of those three time periods and write the lyrics you think the Sorting Hat would sing to accompany that time period. Please make sure your work is canon-based and between 150 to 200 words in length. Any person over the age of the 13 and not involved in the judging process may submit only one original PG13 approximate entry. Please submit your song lyrics to contests@the-leaky-cauldron.org by August 24, 2008 at 11:59 pm (EDT) with “Sorting Hat Song” in the subject line of the e-mail. Please copy-paste the song into the body of the e-mail and include a name to be used for authorship (real name or Leaky Lounge name).
