Galaxie on Emma.

EVEN before Robert Pattinson made it big as Edward Cullen, the vampire with a heart, in Twilight, Emma Watson who starred with the heartthrob in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire knew he was destined for bigger things. “I mean he’s incredibly handsome, and there was a lot of buzz about him when Harry Potter first came out. Everyone was, ‘Ooh, who’s that guy? You know he’s the guy who plays Cedric?’ So I think there was a lot of interest in him then. I’m not surprised. He’s always going to be a heartthrob,” Watson told Galaxie in an exclusive interview in the Aug 1 issue.

The 19-year-old is currently starring in the sixth instalment of the successful Harry Potter franchise, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince.
It has been 10 years since she was cast as the brainy Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie. The franchise has brought her worldwide fame and a vast fortune. Watson is said to be worth more than US$10mil and is ranked sixth on the Forbes list of Most Valuable Young Stars.

Instead of parlaying her success to bigger movie roles or a fashion line, Watson has decided to pursue education instead. She is heading to America later this month to start a new life as a college student.

“The wonderful thing about doing a degree in the United States is, if you do a B.A., you don’t have to decide your major until later on, but it would probably be English Literature.”
