Parade interview.

Emma Watson had even more fun the sixth time around as Hermione Granger in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. In the midst of the dark battle for supremacy in the wizard world, there's a whole lot of teen romance going on.

Hermione comes a little closer to declaring her love for Ron Weasley—and has a jealous fit when he gets a juicy kiss from another woman. Parade.com's Jeanne Wolf found out that Watson didn't complain about not getting a kissing scene.

The pain of love.
"Poor Hermione gets her heart broken. She's experiencing her first heartache, really. She's very confused by how she feels about Ron and she gets really upset when he kisses someone else. It was a challenge to play her as a much more emotional and vulnerable person, but Rupert and I have some very funny moments as my jealousy sort of gets out of control."

Left out of lip-lock.
"I didn't get a kiss, but Daniel did and Rupert did. There's no kissing for me in this film. I felt left out. No, I'm joking. I was actually very relieved. But, Rupert and I did our kiss two weeks ago when we were filming the next one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. We both got very giggly. We were really struggling to be serious and we were so desperate to get it over with. We felt the pressure since there's been so much media interest in our kissing. It's like 10 years worth of tension and hormones and everything in one moment. And we had to ace it so we were like, 'Oh God.' But hopefully we delivered."

Why she likes the young Hermione.
"I find it easier to watch her, which might surprise you. I had the bushy hair, chipmunk face and the big teeth thing going on, which wasn't a great look for me. I find that I can completely disconnect myself from that person on the screen. It feels like such a long time ago and I didn't really identify with her when she was a kid."

Always a fan.
"To be honest, I'm such a geeky Harry Potter fanatic. I know the books inside out. I've read each of them at least three times, and I could probably answer any trivia question that you come up with. But, when I read the books, I read them from the perspective of someone who is just dying to know what happens and I don't even think about the scenes I'll have to be acting."

Getting a license and Prius.
"I love driving. I'm not going to lie. I've had a couple of scrapes and a couple of parking tickets. But nothing too bad. Overall, I think I'm a pretty good driver."

Learning to live with fame.
"As the three of us get older, we've got more experience and we're able to take things in our stride a little bit more. We just know how the business works and kind of get on with it. I'm not as sensitive. I don't take things personally which is good."

Friends forever.
"I think Rupert, Daniel and I kind of have an unbreakable bond. We've been through a totally unique experience together and that does really cement friendships for life. We're always texting each other and stuff. We like knowing what we're all up to and we'll definitely keep in touch."

Harry Potter forever.
"I don't think Harry Potter is ever really going to die because it's so big and so loved. We have the theme park coming out in 2010 and new generations of kids are going to keep reading the books and watching the films. I don't really feel like it's ever going to really go away."

But she's taking a break from the spotlight.
"I've always wanted to go to university and I really want to finish my studies. I think Natalie Portman, when she was younger, said, 'I'd rather be smart than an actress.' I definitely feel her vibe. It doesn't mean that I'm giving up acting or anything dramatic like that. I just want a normal experience for a while."
