The French English Crash mag script.

first, the introduction:
She is barely 18 years and has 8 of film behind, the little english Emma Watson begins filming the next Harry Potter movie. She is so mature and extremely modest for such a young age, she showed her strength' character to Karl Lagerfeld. She points to an unpredictable result in a demonic profession.

the interview:
-How did began your career as an actress?
I was nine years when the producers came to my school with the auditions of the HP movie. Since I was already a big fan of the books, my drama teacher put me forward. After about eight tests, and after making several tests with different "Ron" and various "Harry," I got the role!!

-You started with the role of Hermione at 10 , now you are 18. It is rare to see an actress growing up in the same role. How do you feel about that?
It is not easy to grow in the big screen. When you're a teenager, you're full of anguish, you must learn to grow from the mistakes that you've committed. It is difficult to live this period of changes, just at the same time that you're involve in a big production.

-What is the most exciting in be an actress?
I like to analyze the characters: to understand how they would react in a given situation, what they thoughts. I like the escape of all, where everything is completely forgotten. I like to get both negative and positive memories. I like to keep these experiences at the surface, in order to evoke an emotion in a scene.

-How do you see the future?
I don't know! I don't look over the next five years... At most. I'm only 18! Anything can happen! I take advantage of every opportunity!

-Why do you want to go to college?
I feel alive when I learn, I feel motivated. I can't stop learning. I want to meet new friends. I want to find my own out of the film's industry because it is a universe that may be a bit anonymous. I want to feel normal for a while.

What do you want to study?
I want to speak French fluently, as when I was a child. I want to paint better. I want to learn photography. I haven't studied history since I was 15 and I want to do it again. I'm a passionate about literature. I have never studied philosophy or political science...

-You are very humble, does not seem a big star. What do you think of the phenomenon of child stars?
I don't like that label. Child stars are not exactly the best way... if you believe the media. They always seem to forget of Meryl Streep, or Natalie Portman, Julia Stiles, Jodie Foster. I don't think that a child star would be doomed to failure. I don't think that I'm worst than others. I'm not on drugs. Of course, the life will not be easy after Harry Potter. I'll always be a little terrified by the idea of becoming a "has been." I will probably never be as famous as I am now, or so exceptional or so young nor so well paid... But it all depends on how I carry my own success

-How do you separate your private life and your public life?
I like to be private, but it is quite difficult at this time. I never speak of my relationships. Journalists complain much about it... In a sense, speculation is very helpful. None of them knows the truth, but they still wrote articles, they have no credibility. Audrey Hepburn always said: "I do what is written about me, because it is false." The tabloids are ridiculous, and I think a little bit just like her. But I can't complain... Relatively speaking, I'm pretty good

-You love fashion. Why?
It's a pleasure! I like to dress! It's so creative, very expressive! I love fashion for the same reasons that I appreciate the art.

-Favorite designers?
Chanel, Vivienne Westwood, Balenciaga, Balmain, Preen, Christopher Kane, Marc Jacobs...

-What do you think about your first experience with Karl Lagerfeld?
For a long time that I'm a fan of Karl, but until now I understand the magnitude of his work. I really think that he is a genius. Furthermore, the photo shoot was one of the most enjoyable of my life.

-Where do you prefer to live?
France

-Your biggest nightmare?
Sharks!

-Are you involved in charitable activities?
I start slowly. I want my decisions are well based, I want to be informed and participate in actions that really matter. I do not want to be a simple "face" of a project.

-Are you ecologist?
I could not be otherwise. I do my final project on global warming and Hurricane Katrina. I studied the effects on a small scale, such as dam projects in London, but also on a larger scale. My car is electric, I recycle, take public transportation, try not to buy and not to drink bottled water. I'm not a purist and I'm not perfect. But it is an issue that is important in my heart.

-Do you believe in magic?
Yes. Not everything can be explained.

-Do you believe in miracles?
I had the role, right?

-Your favorite music?
I listen a lot of folk and blues at the moment.

-What's your favorite sound?
The laughter of a baby.

-¿Favorite Perfume?
Rose Framboise.

-Favorite book?
The shadow of the wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón...

-Favorite piece of art?
My favorite artists are Euan Uglow, Gustav Klimt, Egon Schiele and Jenny Saville. I love the pictures of Tim Walker ... I want to live in a photo of Tim Walker. I went to see the Francis Bacon exhibition at the Tate Gallery a few months ago, and it was the most beautiful I have ever seen. But do not force me to choose a piece of art ... It's too hard!
