No surprises here: A new poll released today shows that JK Rowling's Harry Potter series is the most re-read of all books in England. The books beat out JRR Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, and George Orwell's 1984, among others.
According to those who conducted the survey, respondents "returned to the same books because they are fantastic stories of which they never tire, they find something new in each reading, it is comforting, they can relate to the characters and it cheers them up."
