Emma Watson has taken legal action against the Internet service provider, 1&1, so that they can learn the identity of a website which has posted her private photos and her personal emails.
Lord Voldemort, perhaps?
Title this one Harry Potter and the Order of the Court.
Lawyers for Harry Potter screen star Emma Watson have gone after the Wayne-based Internet service provider 1&1 Internet, which hosts the site emma-watson-fans.net. In a motion filed in U.S. District Court here, Watson, 17, claims that the site has posted her personal e-mails, including notes related to the actress' breakup with a teenage boyfriend. Her attorneys sought a subpoena to learn the identity of the Web site's owner.
Anne Marie Tropiano of 1&1 yesterday said the ISP immediately contacted the site owner, who pulled the e-mails. She declined to identify the owner.
